Data Deletion Instructions

1. Your Right to Deletion

You may request that Harborsoft Technologies (Private) Limited delete the personal data we hold about you. This includes data we process on behalf of our business clients through Meta platforms — Facebook, Instagram, and the WhatsApp Business Platform.

2. How to Request Deletion

Send a deletion request to privacy@harborsoft.tech with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:

• Your full name
• The identifier the data is held under — the phone number, email address, or account used to contact us or our client
• The business or service you interacted with, if you know it
• A description of the data you want deleted

3. What Happens Next

• We acknowledge your request within 5 business days of receiving it.
• We verify your identity, so that we do not delete another person's data on an unverified request.
• We delete the data — and instruct our sub-processors to do the same — within 30 days of verification.
• We confirm to you in writing once deletion is complete.

4. Data Held on Behalf of Our Clients

Where we act as a data processor for a business client, that client is the data controller. If your request concerns data held under a client's account, we will forward your request to that client and act on their instruction, and we will tell you who they are so you can contact them directly.

5. What We May Retain

We may retain a limited set of data where the law requires it — for example tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention records — or where we need it to establish or defend a legal claim. We will tell you what has been retained and why, and we delete it once the obligation ends.

6. Removing App Access

If you connected a Meta account to one of our applications, you can revoke that access yourself at any time from your Facebook settings under Apps and Websites, or from your WhatsApp Business Account settings under Business Apps. Revoking access stops future data sharing; to delete data already held, send us a request as described above.
